Sonoma Coast Villa - Bodega

The resort has a charming ambiance, with friendly staff and lovely grounds. While the amenities like the breakfast buffet and comfortable rooms greatly impressed, the limited dining options and noisy flies in the restaurant detracted from the experience a bit.

Absolutely fantastic breakfast, including croissants and cereal. Modern, neat unit with cute veranda, and attentive staff.

Gorgeous secluded location, not far from dining options in Bodega Bay and Valley Ford, the West Coast, and Drake's restaurant at Bodega Bay Lodge which was absolutely wonderful. The breakfast with homemade pastries.

Rooms are spacious and the setting is romantic.

Room could use better lighting. Hotel entrance is easy to miss when coming back from down town Bodega Bay at night.

A relaxing getaway on the coast

We arrived to a friendly welcome and a relaxing atmosphere. Our room was cozy, and the serene fountain outside. Breakfast included delicious croissant French toast!

The TV in our room was small and difficult to view comfortably. Plus, some snacks were past their sell-by dates.

The view from the suite was exceptional. The staff was brilliantly friendly and dog friendly, helped with every request. The service was very efficient, including a smooth check-in. Plus, free Wi-Fi was available throughout the property.

The hotel offers croissants and cereal for breakfast.

Its stunning, secluded location was a plus.

Our room was quiet and the grounds were beautiful.

They do not have enough employees. Several times we needed assistance, but there was no one at the front desk or answering the telephone. The pool is definitely not heated.

Had an amazing getaway with my friends! We enjoyed hiking at nearby scenic trails and relaxing in our spacious room with a fireplace. The breakfast was great, and we appreciated the complimentary wine hour. Just a heads-up , cell service is spotty, so plan accordingly. A highlight was the cozy s'mores by the fire at night.

One downside was that some staff members weren't easily identifiable.

Comfortable rooms, beautiful grounds.

I can't say enough good things about sonoma coast villa! The staff were helpful and friendly. My beautiful king room was spacious, clean, and had heated floors, a great touch. I loved the s'mores kits and outdoor movie by the fire. Plus, the hot tub was nice and toasty. The breakfast included in my stay was excellent too!

However, some staff members lacked identification, which was a bit unsettling, and we faced a minor inconvenience with the front desk being closed when we returned at night. Great for a short stay or a family gathering.
